We are going to be Grandparents! Jenny and Steve are expecting and due in mid July. This will be our first grandchild so it is very exciting news. Jenny is doing well and they are studying all of the baby name books.
We are still in Vero Beach. The weather has been warm and sunny until today. It is windy and rainy ahead of the cold front. The rain is good because it means that the salt should all we washed off the boat. We have been working little projects around the boat. Wayne changed the engine oil today. A dirty task but one that must be done. He also looked at the saildrive oil and they both look PERFECT!!!! We have NEVER seen the oil look this clear.
We are now looking for a weather window to cross over to the Bahamas. Hopefully we will have a window in the next week or so.
The picture of us was taken by Jim Austin on "Salty Paws" as we were leaving in the dinghy to go on one of our many trips to town. Jim is a professional photographer. You can check out Jim's web page at www.jimages.com. I think this may be the first professional picture ever taken of Wayne and I other than at Steve and Jenny's wedding. We are rafted up to "Salty Paws" and are enjoying getting to know Jim, Bentley and their Corgi Crew of Petrol and Ethyl. Petrol and Ethyl have trained me well and I am feeding them dog biscuits daily.
